Kandireega’s success brought new light into Ram filmography but also shined on the supporting cast Sonu Sood and Aksha Pardasany, who walked away with much of the praise for their respective roles. But it looks like another round of praise is being planned with Kandireega 2 silently making progress in the background.
Although Ram did not open up on his twitter account about the rumors, he did not deny work with the team from Kandireega is not on the books although with the cast seeing a few changes. Producer Bellamkonda Suresh has been noted to be approaching Shruti Haasan for the lead. At a time when Ram plans to make his foray into Tamil with his Endukante Premanta, the sequel and its expected dubbed version could use Shruti’s popularity in Tamil Nadu if she signs the dotted line.
